Acid Oils

Acid oil is the by-product of vegetable oil extraction. It predominantly consists of long chain free fatty acids mixture along with small amounts of mineral acids, free moisture, phospholipids and sterols. This oil is valuable for its fatty acid component as a basis for soap, distillation, purification and other industrial uses.

Groundnut Oils

Groundnut oil is extracted from groundnut seeds. It differs from any other vegetable oil in having no distinct flavour. Despite this groundnut oil managed to retain a luscious taste that makes it the preferred oil for food lovers all over the world. This pale coloured oil is used extensively for deep-frying since it can be heated to a high temperature.

Linseed Oil

Linseed oil is extracted by the cold pressed method from the seed of the Flax plant. Cold pressed extraction is used to prevent impurities from contaminating the oil. This oil is rich in vitamin B, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids. It is highly recommended for its nutritional properties as it is considered to be nature’s rich source of omega-3 fatty acids. Linseed oil also has resolvent properties that make it highly useful for industrial applications. It is one of the most versatile oils, depending upon how it is processed, it can be used for a wide range of products.

Palm Oil

Palm oil is extracted from the fruit of oil palms. Palm oil is known for its balance in saturated and unsaturated fatty acids with almost an equal share of each. Palm oil is easily fractionated into two products, palm olein and palm strearin. Palm olein is the liquid fraction of palm oil and can be easily blended with various vegetable oils in different portions to obtain liquid oil that can withstand lower temperatures. These oils have high stability and make it remarkably suitable for frying purposes. Palm strearin is the solid fraction of palm oil and is blended with an assortment of of products ranging from vegetable oils to produce a more solid margarine fat to a soap blend and for formulating animal feeds.

Recovered Vegetable Oil

Recovered vegetable oils are parcels of oil that are normally recycled cooking oil from edible outlets or distressed parcels of contaminated oil. They are of particular attraction to the biodiesel industry, as feedstock into the biodiesel production process. These oils are not traded on any exchange and are generally traded in an over the counter, informal, manner. The specifications are variable and generally each trade is agreed upon on a isolated basis between the buyer and seller.

Soybean Oil

Soybean oil is one of the most widely consumed cooking oils around the world. It is low in saturated fats, contains no trans fats and is the main source of omega-3 fatty acids. Soybean oil is selected by food manufactures for its versatility and economical pricing. The neutral flavour and stable fatty acid profile of soybean oil makes it a sought-after ingredient for a diversity of uses from baked goods to salad dressings. Soybean oil is available in numerous categories, from crude to refine.

PFAD

Palm Fatty Acid Distillates is a by-product of crude palm oil refinery plant. PFAD is a versatile product and is utilized in numerous industries such as the soap industry, animal feed industry and can even be a raw material for bio-diesel and chemical industries. PFAD is also known its production of vitamin E which is used in various fields especially in the health industry.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is produced from oil type sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil is light in taste and appearance and supplies more Vitamin E than any other vegetable oil. This oil is generally considered premium oil because of its high level of unsaturated fatty acids and lack of linoleic acid. The versatility of this healthy oil is recognized by consumers worldwide.

Palm Kernel Oil

Palm kernel oil is extracted from the kernels of the oil palm. Palm nuts contain kernels which are dried and minced, then pressed and extracted. It is a highly sought after oil within the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry because of its short-chained fatty acids, high stability and melting point. It is also used in margarines and other baking products.

Canola Oil

Canola oil also known as Rapeseed oil is extracted from the canola seed. It is known for its health benefits in being the least saturated fat of all cooking oils. It’s trans-fat and cholesterol free. Canola oil have high heat tolerance, neutral taste is light in texture.
